Carol Chilton Garcia is a fifth generation Roseville resident who has solidified her roots in Roseville through local volunteerism and community banking.


She attended Roseville schools and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Sacramento.


Her community banking career spans 37 years, working for several banks in Roseville. Carol is currently Senior Vice President concentrating in Marketing and Business Development for Community 1st Bank.


Carol's ties to the area can be seen throughout her personal and professional history in her volunteerism for local non-profit organizations. She has served as President of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, Child Abuse Prevention Council of Placer County (Kids First) and the Rotary Club of Roseville. As an 18 year breast cancer survivor, she is a co-founder and currently chairs the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, raising $1.5 million for breast cancer research through UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center.


Carol has served on various City of Roseville committees and commissions over the past 23 years, serving on the Roseville City Council from 2007-2016 and Mayor from 2014-2016. She was elected in 2016 to serve on the Sierra College Board of Trustees for a four year term.


Carol has received numerous awards over the years, including The Roseville Chamber of Commerce's prestigious Athena Award and was voted as a winner of Nabisco's nationwide contest "Celebrating 100 Extraordinary Women". In addition, she was honored as American Association of University Women's 2016 Women of Distinction Award, received Northern California Power Agency's 2016 Pubic Power Award, Sacramento Metro Chamber's Peter McCuen Award and California State University Sacramento's Distinguished Alumni Award .


Carol takes pride in providing excellent customer service for her business and consumer banking customers. Her business motto has never wavered over the years and firmly believes that people bank with people. She specializes in deposit services and providing an easy transition for new clients who want to make a banking change.


Carol resides in Roseville with her husband of 36 years, Orlando, and they have two adult daughters, Raeanne and Sherry.
